From 10 to 13 May 2026, members of the UNSAT Lab at Hunan University attended the 5th International Symposium on Machine Learning & Big Data in Geoscience (5ISMLG 2026) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in Hong Kong.

5ISMLG is the flagship conference series of TC309 Machine Learning under the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The symposium brought together researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances in machine learning and big data analytics for geoscience and geoengineering.
