On 31 July 2025, Professor Nima Shokri from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) visited the UNSAT Lab at Hunan University.

Professor Shokri is Chair and Professor of Geo-Hydroinformatics and Head of the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics at TUHH. His research focuses on water, soil, and environmental processes, including multiscale hydrological processes in porous media, and integrates advanced sensing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and remote sensing.

During the visit, Professor Shokri gave an academic presentation, toured the laboratory facilities, and exchanged ideas with UNSAT Lab members on ongoing research.
